Internet
broadcasters are looking for independent music to play.
Unfortunately, hundreds
of broadcasters are shutting down due to sky high royalty rates
instigated by
RIAA (Recording Industry Association). Currently
the
only way webcasters can survive the new
RIAA
sponsored legislation is to find independent artists who can give
broadcasters
permission to play their music royalty free.
The
"Radio
for Independent Artists of America Foundation Unlimited" (RIAAFU) is a
new
website which is simply a searchable database designed to match
internet
broadcasters with independent artists who wish to have their music
broadcast.
When you register as an artist or record label your contact information
will be
added to the database so broadcasters can find you, and you are welcome
to
search for broadcasters.
This
is not a
commercial site, and if you register, there are no obligations legal or
otherwise. It just shows that you are interested in finding
broadcasters to
play your music.
Please
support
this cause by registering at www.riaafu.com,
writing your representatives, and spreading the word.

Rock A Mole Productions has just
finished a documentary film, The
Ultimate Song, that highlights the great importance of music in the
battle to
end poverty. The Ultimate Song includes interviews and/or performance
footage
of Ice T, Sara Hickman, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello
of Rage Against the Machine, Bruce Springsteen, Brother Bank, Marah, Warren Haynes of Gov't

The
Ultimate
Song explores a new relationship between musicians and poor people's
organizations, where the poverty of musicians and their struggle to
create is
placed on the same footing as the general problems of high rent and low
health
care.
The
Ultimate
Song, filled with music from beginning to end, shows how the use of
culture can
help bring about the end of poverty for musician and fan alike. It
tackles such
questions as: "Are Poor People Lazy?,"
"What Color is Poverty?," "Musicians Are (Poor) People
Too," "The Power of Music," and "What Can Musicians
Do?".

MUSIC WITH
MEANING
Music - the
universal
language.
Every
day, people around the globe experience its power to express our
deepest
longings, expand our minds, strengthen
our
hearts and renew our souls. But have you listened to some of what's out
there?
Too often, music is created without regard for its inherent beauty,
power, and
influence. At AudibleFaith,
we long to see music utilized as we know it can be.
That's
why audiblefaith.com is
committed
to helping
artists from all over the world find their voice and get their music
heard. By
providing distribution, discussion forums, song writing workshops,
networks to
other artists, and many more resources, we hope to catalyze an
outpouring of
new songs that enable all of us to reach for a higher standard,
reshaping and
binding us together. Whether it's music that preserves and celebrates
the rich
cultures of our world, sacred songs of worship that inspire and renew,
powerful
songs of justice that provoke and challenge, or fun songs about
everyday life
that teach us how to love, laugh and live, our dream is to become the
premiere
destination for artists who have something to say and for people
looking for

We have
created a worldwide
forum for your songs to be heard and a great distribution mechanism to
quickly
and cheaply get your songs posted to other great music sites. Just send
us your
songs (either electronically or by snail mail) and let us worry about
getting
them to the top mp3 sites.
As part of
our distribution
service, your songs automatically qualify for the review process; the
best ones
